Restrict development in the Jinlglepot area. I don't think the character of this rural area and good farmland should be urbanized.
When walking with my blind friend, we have difficulty negotiating sidewalks that have years of yard waste and branches sticking out. Concerned about tripping onto to busy roads .
I would like to see an expectation, of all public gatherings where food is present, for there to be receptacles for cans, paper recycling, and compost. I understand this would be a chore for organizers, kiosks and food trucks. We have made previous concessions :) in our lives to make our locality a bit GREENER. We can learn to do this too. I would hope it would be added to City of Nanaimo permits. If I can be of help to figure out logistics please contact me :)
